Although he thinks he's trying to show thoughtful contemplation, it is feigned. During the 0:54 - 0:59 segment, Senator Barrasso's (R-WY) true emotions are betrayed by his nonverbals. He's really feeling Contempt (for which there are several facial expressions), Disbelief. Such body language is Condescending and will engender Patronizing feelings. He's directing these emotions towards Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during yesterday's Senate Hearings regarding the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, Libya.
All people, particularly those in the public forum and those in "leadership" positions (even minor ones) very often are thinking one thing - however they're saying and trying to project other feelings. If you know what to look for, you can pick up on these ruses - and avoid financial losses, heartache and much worse. How many body language-facial expressions do you mislabel and thus fall victim to their subterfuge?
What do think about Hillary Clinton's tearful display in this video? Was her crying sincere?
