Last week John Boehner was elected by his republican colleagues for his third term as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. One of the most powerful members of the U.S. government and second in line for presidential succession (behind only Vice President Joe Biden) - the Ohio republican is shown in this image kissing the former Speaker, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) after he once again received the ceremonial Speaker's gavel.
From a body language perspective, the expression on Ms. Pelosi's face is almost a caricature. This is a classic nonverbal moment having elements of both contempt and disgust present.
