Ashton Kutcher was a guest Wednesday on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. Towards the end of the above video segment Mr. Mila Kunis rips his pants upon reenacting a somewhat hyperbolic car seat scenario. Immediately afterward he displays two nonverbal signals which are highlighted below.
Ashton Kutcher is a good actor. But one nonverbal behavior which is rarely acted, very commonly seen in everyday life - and yet almost never understood - is an Inward Lip Roll (ILR). Captured here at 2:40, an inward lip roll is a subconscious facial expression made when the psyche is trying to suppress the inward growth of strong emotions - as well as their outward expression.
A second later (2:41) Kutcher can be seen making a "Tongue Jut" (aka "Lizard Tongue"). This signals the thought-emotion of "I've been caught" / "I've been bad" / "I just messed up".
