President-Elect Donald Trump and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney had dinner in Manhattan on Tuesday. The image above was captured during that occasion and has since become a bit viral.

Many have misidentified Mitt Romney's emotions in this moment.

From a nonverbal perspective, Mr. Romney's facial expression is highly characteristic for an amalgam of both Anxiety (which most people are able to discern) and Regret (which most people cannot detect).
